Hello friends,
First of all I have to say sorry for not posting this blog last week.
My eye got scratched and could not see the screen for about 5mins at a time.
Which to be honest it wasn’t great but on the positive side I had a nap everday and took some paracetamol for the pain.
Now I am back and wanting to share with you my copy of the book in the above title.
Sir Paul McCarthy’s “Eyes of the Storm”.
This book is truly amazing.
This is a book based on the years1963 - 1964. When the legendary British band “The Beatles” to America by storm with there music after appearing on The Ed Sullivans Show”.
While touring America the Boys were given cameras as a present. Paul learned very quickly to know how to use his camera and started documenting there time.
Sir Paul McCarthy’s Book.
“Eyes of the Storm”.
I thought it was a fantastic book.
It’s not only got the history side but also wonderful memories of that period.
As a photographer this book has inspired me to document more when I am out doing photography.
I am so amazed at the human brain to remember things that have happened in the past.
I admire Paul McCarthy’s for not just for his talent but also remembering what happened at that time ,sharing stories behind the photos to you and I.
The pictures taken on a film camera.
There were so many pictures that I liked but if I had to choose it would be these two down below👇:
These portraits of John Lennon & George Harrison.
What do you think?
